Question 1

Who can register on the Eventsliner organizer portal?

Accepted Answer

Official representatives of college societies, clubs, departments, committees, and independent campus organizers can register. You need a work or society email address and basic organization details to create your profile.

Question 2

How does organizer email sign-in work?

Accepted Answer

Enter your email on the login page. We send a 4-digit verification code to your inbox — enter it to sign in. No password to remember or reset.

Question 3

How long does college society verification take?

Accepted Answer

Organization verification typically takes 1–3 business days after you submit your details and proof. You receive an email once approved and your Verified badge appears on your public society profile.

Question 4

How do I create a college event after onboarding?

Accepted Answer

After verification, go to Events → Create Event in the organizer portal. Fill in basics (title, date, venue, capacity), add registration and payment settings, save drafts automatically, and submit for review. Most events go live within a few hours.

Question 5

How is Eventsliner different from Google Forms for event registration?

Accepted Answer

Google Forms collects answers only. Eventsliner is a college event registration platform that combines registration pages, online payments, automated confirmations, QR tickets, attendance scanning, and exports in one organizer dashboard — built for campus events, not generic surveys.

Question 6

Can I run college fest registrations for multiple sub-events?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create separate events for each competition, workshop, concert, or pass type while managing everything from one verified society profile. Learn more at our college fest registration page.

Question 7

Can I set capacity limits on event registration?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Set a maximum number of registrations per event. Registration closes automatically when capacity is reached — no manual monitoring of spreadsheet row counts.

Question 8

Can I add custom registration questions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add fields for college, year, team name, dietary requirements, or any information your event needs. Responses appear in your registration dashboard and exports.

Question 9

How much does Eventsliner cost for college event management?

Accepted Answer

Creating events, managing registrations, QR check-in, and analytics is free. There is no subscription or monthly fee. A 3% payment processing charge (plus applicable taxes) applies only on successful paid registrations. Free events incur zero charges.

Question 10

When do I receive settlement from paid event registrations?

Accepted Answer

Paid event revenue settles to your verified bank account within working days after your event completes. Track unsettled balance, settlement history, and per-event revenue on the Finance page in your organizer portal.

Question 11

Do I still need to verify UPI payment screenshots manually?

Accepted Answer

No. When you enable paid registration, payment is collected at checkout and registration status updates automatically. This replaces the manual screenshot-matching workflow most societies run on top of Google Forms.

Question 12

How does QR event check-in work on event day?

Accepted Answer

Every confirmed registration receives a QR ticket in the Eventsliner app. On event day, open Events → Scan (mobile nav) or the event's Attendance tab, point your camera at each ticket, and attendance is marked instantly with duplicate detection.

Question 13

Do I need special hardware for QR attendance scanning?

Accepted Answer

No. Any smartphone with the organizer portal works. Multiple committee members can scan simultaneously at different gates — useful for fest entry and high-volume campus events.

Question 14

Can I issue digital certificates to participants?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After your event, open Certificates on the event page. Add a Participation or Award certificate template, then issue in bulk to checked-in participants. Students download certificates from their Eventsliner profile.

Question 15

Can I export registration and attendance data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Export participant lists and attendance records anytime from your event dashboard — useful for sponsor reports, faculty submissions, and certificate issuance.

Question 16

What happens if I need to cancel a paid campus event?

Accepted Answer

Cancel from your organizer portal and communicate the change to registered participants. Process refunds according to your stated refund policy. Full terms are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy at https://eventsliner.com/refund-policy.

Question 17

Can multiple committee members manage the same society?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Onboard team representatives with role-based access so marketing, finance, and operations leads can share the registration dashboard and check-in tools without sharing one login.

Question 18

How do I contact Eventsliner organizer support?

Accepted Answer

Email support@eventsliner.com or use the Help & Support section inside the portal after logging in. Include your organization name and event link for faster help.
